Gallery and restaurant
The Michalak House, which features a an art gallery and restaurant, is situated in the heart of Kazimierz, near the main square, across the tiny river Grodarz. It is surrounded by a spacious front yard shaded by old trees and by a big garden.
Art shows take place in the rooms of the main building, a typical Polish country house with a unique, antique interior.
The restaurant is located in a side pavilion of a manor house but, when the weather is nice, one can take the meals in the colorful garden.
Here and only here in the main building and in a side pavilion of a manor house – literally and metaphorically – you can get the taste of the real Kazimierz: a small, humble town where art and travelers are loved.
This firm belongs to the painter Janusz Michalak.
